Chinese New Year Calendar 2007

Divided in to 12 months of 29 or 30 days each, the Chinese New Year is celebrated on the first day of the first month of the Chinese calendar. The 12-year cycles are repeated continuously. Each successive year is named after one of the 12 animals and the animals are Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Ram, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig.

Chinese New Year Calendar is very helpful especially for the aged people, who find it difficult to remember their age. So, by just knowing the animal in whose year they were born, their age can be calculated. Simple isn't? Chinese New Year Calendar is frequently used for astrological purposes, much the same way the 12 signs of the zodiac are used in the West to describe personality traits and to tell fortunes.
